Possible Interpretations (Leave your own thoughts below)
The Star of David consists of two triangles. The broad shoulder triangle represents the man and the other triangle represents the woman. In Judaism the center of the home in Shabbat and therefore the middle of the Challah Cover begins with the colors of the Shabbat Candles spreading outwards touching everything that it comes into contact with. The light of Shabbat and the whole concept of Shabbat affects not only the Jewish world, represented by the inner circle but the whole universe, represented by the outer circle. Around the Star of David appear the Hebrew words “Shabbat Shalom” created from circles and squares. Each circle is a whole universe and within it is each one of us represented as a little star.
